Chemist, Genius and Figure

There is no doubt and the phrase says it well: “Genius and figure until the grave” and without a doubt that is going very well for the mayor Luisa Guillermo Benítez Torres, who in order to maintain his ego and pride not only proclaims himself as the best mayor in México, but rather that in the face of criticism from wherever it is, he disqualifies them as “cheap grid”. Still challenging, he exclaims: “They do what the wind does to Juárez.”

In an act of the Jumapam and after yesterday in a session of the Municipal Council some aldermen questioned him about traveling rather than being aware of the city’s problems, the chemist asked the PAS officials who “go to work and don’t pay attention to your führer (in clear reference to the moral leader of that party Héctor Melesio Cuén).

The Mazatlán municipe encrypted a good part of his message in the delivery of equipment for the Jumapam, in turn criticizing the media and certain newspapers that only see their interests, but “we are no longer afraid” of that press .

With a trembling voice, he also categorically denied that the acknowledgments for Mazatlán “buy” them; in any case, he asked that they try it on and not defame.

The act, which seemed like a catharsis to take out everything he had in his hoarse chest, Benítez Torres said he will continue with his trips and in the promotion of tourism because the President of the Republic gave the mayors that freedom after the disappearance of the trust of support for tourism by corruption. “If I didn’t travel, we wouldn’t have the tourism we have,” he boasted.

Governors Charged!

Yesterday a few before the senators, opposed by some legislators from the PRI; PAN and PRD, will approve the initiative of the President of the Republic to integrate the National Guard to the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), in a surprise meeting of almost 22 governors of Morenabetween constitutional and elected, joined the “charged” with President López Obrador and the legislators of Morena to carry out this law.

Thus, the majority of local leaders leave “national surveillance” in the hands of the Federation and that the military, whether with the Army, the Navy or the National Guard, confront organized crime that does so much damage to the country, but above all to Mexican society.

The Army has managed to amass a large number of tools to infiltrate criminal groups. They also have the logistical support of the United States, which provides them with information, through the various security agencies of that nation, about criminals in our country.

For this reason, the ruling class of all the parties is more or less in agreement that the National Guard should go to the Sedena and take responsibility away from it and also spend fewer resources on their police forces, which today are in deplorable conditions at the state level. and municipal.

Thus, the federal government becomes the main support force for the state governors, who are going to owe the President of the Republic to have more soldiers or police from the GN.

Some PRI, PAN and even PRD legislators agree to keep the military on the streets for another year. This gives the reason, as President López Obrador recognized, to former President Felipe Calderón, who was the one who brought the armed forces into the streets to combat, specifically, drug trafficking and the violence it generates.

Suicides increase

Within the framework of the International Day for Suicide Prevention, an interesting master conference was held at the Autonomous University of the State of México, there in Toluca, where the doctor and specialist Carel Adriana Sabines Tirado held before hundreds of young people that in 10 years, deaths by suicide in México increased 10 percent and that 85 percent of people who commit suicide do so by hanging.

“Men don’t cry, they commit suicide, since for every woman who commits suicide, four men do it. Men commit suicide more, but women try more, that is, men are more successful in their attempts”, said Sabines Tirado.

He pointed out that 90 percent of people who commit suicide, think about it, plan it or attempt it have some mental disorder, the most common being affective, post-traumatic stress and substance use.

For her part, another expert on the subject, Diana Karen Castro Estrada, asserted that suicide is a complex problem, in which all kinds of factors, psychological, environmental, social and biological, intervene. He said that suicidal risk is the main psychiatric emergency in the world, which is why since 2003 the International Association for Suicide Prevention, in collaboration with the World Health Organization, promoted that every September 10 the International Day for Suicide will be commemorated. Suicide Prevention.

For her part, María del Rocío García de León Pastrana argued that the school must establish a culture of prevention that allows students to be cared for and accompanied. “It’s not about judging, but about sustaining and containing.”
