Escuinapa, Sin.– The monthly subsidy received by the DIF from the City Hall of Escuinapa which is around 640 thousand pesos, is insufficient to meet the needs of this noble institution, as Alberto Vázquez Guzmán, president of the Municipal DIF system, revealed.

The official announced that the financial situation of the system DIFF is “tight”, since the resource provided to them is not enough.+

“The subsidy of DIFF It is not enough for us to cover all the expenses that we have to are many, there are 320 thousand pesos that are sent to us every fortnight, they would be in total 640 thousand pesos”.

He added that more than 50 percent of said resource goes to the expense of the trust personnel payroll.

“From payroll they are almost gone 200 thousand pesos per fortnight and since the administration began, no payment has been stopped, it is one of the main commitments that they have, that the personnel have their timely payment, but in terms of providers if we stay tight.”

He announced that in order to reduce spending a little, it has had to do without personnel in some area, such as the one in charge of Means Humans a nutritionist and one psychologist these recently and two more people in other areas in previous days.

“The Human Resources area is going to be covered with staff that is already on the payroll and the other two with internship staff.”

At the end, he said that it is expected that for the following year there will be a better budget, although he did not specify how much the resource is required to have better functionality.
