This Thursday, drinking water will return to Escuinapa – The Mazatlán Post

Escuinapa, Sin.- After almost a week without being with the drinking water service, this Thursday it will be restoring service in the municipal seat, as reported Fabiola Rodriguez Lizarraga, manager of the Municipal Potable Water and Sewage Board of Escuinapa (Jumapae).

The service was suspended due to a leak that occurred in the network of the Baluarte-Escuinapa aqueduct.

The people explained that since yesterday, Tuesday, the affected section of pipe was installed, but when the clamp was installed, it was not left, so it was necessary to order a new one to make the repair.

“We already have the tube, but the clamp we had did not fit, so we had to order another one and it has arrived, we are going to install it today, by tomorrow (Thursday) the service will be one hundred percent.”

He said he understood the users’ disagreement, but also called for understanding, since these situations arise as a result of the rains.

At the end, he reiterated that it will be in the course of this Thursday when the service begins to be restored.
