Sheinbaum Pardo reunited with her ex-partner 30 years after graduating from UNAM, and they began their relationship when she was already divorced from Carlos Ímaz Gispert, with whom she was married for 19 years and had their only daughter, Mariana Imaz Sheinbaum.

“My partner is my college boyfriend, we studied Physics together, we were dating for a year and a half, then I got married, I lived with my ex-husband for 30 years, we separated,” Sheinbaum said in the radio interview.
