Social Work professionals demonstrated to urge Governor Rubén Rocha Moya to hold a hearing to present his request for a recoding of their job positions in relation to their university education.
The demonstrators met for a few minutes in the central courtyard of the Government Palace, before moving on foot to the State Congress of Sinaloawhere Rocha Moya appeared before Deputies and Deputies on the occasion of his work report.
“A month ago we approached the Governor and we have not been given that hearing,” said Vanesa Camacho Zamora.
“We want to sit down and talk about the situation of the union in particular, we know that it is a problem for the entire worker base, but we are already tired of that situation, tired of the fact that our rights continue to be violated. Neither the union authorities nor the health authorities have responded to our requests.”
There are more than 100 people affected by the lack of recodification of their work positions in Social Work matters, Camacho Zazueta declared.
Given this request, the group of protesters would have hired an accountant to calculate the amount necessary to achieve its recodification, and this is equivalent to 25 million pesos per year from state resources.
