Last December 25th the disappearance of José Melesio Gutiérrez Farías, 38 years old, was recorded; Daniela Márquez Pichardo, 31; her sister Viviana Márquez Pichardo, 27, and her cousin Irma Paola Vargas Montoya, also 27. They went out on Christmas day to an event in Jerez in Zacatecas and they were going back to Colotlán, Jalisco, where they are from. “We are going to try to ask for the support of our President of the Republic so that he, as the highest authority of our country, does us a favor to recover my daughters Daniela and Viviana and my niece Paola and my daughter Daniela’s boyfriend, who is a US citizen. They are working people, they are people who have dedicated themselves to doing good,” accused Daniel Márquez, father of Viviana and Daniela, in a radio interview.
