Raúl Rico González, director of Culture, pointed out that the figure places the current list of artists as the most successful that he can remember. And although they did not have high expectations, they contemplated raising only 10 million pesos, a figure that has already been exceeded.

“The most successful, the fastest, the most accepted. Contrary to what we expected, it was an experiment.”

He reported that the coronation show of the Carnival Queen, the same one where the Banda MS will perform, is close to being sold out, with few tickets available in the side area.

Rico González recalled that for the King’s coronation, Edén Muñoz will perform; for the coronation of the Queen of the Floral Games will be Gloria Gaynor, along with Rock You, and for the coronation of the Children’s Queen, the brothers Jesse & Joy will perform.

On Carnival Monday Jorge Medina will perform in the Olas Altas area.
