CULIACÁN._ Sinaloa It is one of the four federal entities that register the greatest increase in the rate of economic activity according to the latest report from the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics.
This analysis considered the values of the third quarter of 2022, which would include the months of July to September, a period in which Sinaloa registered an increase of 4.3 percent in relation to the rate of economic activity.
The increase in the economic activity rate resulted from the comparison of the third quarter of 2022 with the second quarter of that same year.
“During the July-September 2022 quarter, at a quarterly rate and with seasonally adjusted figures, the states that showed the most pronounced increases in their economic activity were Baja California Sur, Oaxaca, Sinaloa, Nayarit and Tlaxcala ”, exposes the Inegi report.
“In the third quarter of 2022, at an annual rate and with seasonally adjusted figures, the following reported the most significant advances in their economic activity: Hidalgo, Jalisco, Baja California Sur, Chiapas, Tabasco, and Puebla.”
In the comparison of the third quarter of 2021 with the third quarter of 2020, Sinaloa presented a positive variation of 6.4 percent, which places the state above the national average increase, which was 4.2 percent.
Economic activities were also analyzed with respect to the variations of the third quarter of 2022 and the immediately preceding quarter.
In primary activities, the state presented a positive variation of 12.2 percent, placing itself in the national list only below Nayarit, which reached 12.3 percent.
In secondary activities it reached an increase of 0.1 percent, and in tertiary activities it reached a 7.8 percent increase.
