“We want to eat and heal”: Jumapae retirees and pensioners – El Sol de Mazatlán

Escuinapa, Sin.“We want to eat and heal”, is the request that the staff Retired and Pensioner of the Jumapae (Municipal Board of Drinking Water and Sewerage of Escuinapa) for non-payment of several fortnightly, bonus and closeouts.

They are a total of 29 employees in the Retired and Pension status of the paramunicipal who demonstrated outside its offices, to express their feelings, since they are battling even to eat for the lack of Payments.

They denounced that only fortnightly there are some companions to whom are owed until ten and this year they have not been deposited none.

“The situation is that we want them to pay us, to respect our rights that until now have not benefited us at all, our rights are being violated, we have companions with health problems and Sure Social there are no medicines and neither they have money to be able buy because we are not paid… Some of our colleagues have been owed since December” exposed Alma Polanco.

In addition to the fortnightly, they commented that most are owed the settlement, cousins vacation and part of the bonuses 2021 and 2022.

They added that some companions those who can still do it, have employee in others spaces in order to achieve the livelihood of their families but there are already others who have some disability or are Adults greater who can no longer work and depend solely on the income of their pension.

“I’m already in the 88 years old, I can not anymore work the only money the one I live with is from the pension and I already have several months that I do not know pay there with what the children give me, I go going for eat“, exposed Toribio López.

Finally, they said that they hope that this request scope to get to the Governor, Ruben Rocha Moya so that they are given an answer, otherwise contrary going to radicalize his protest to the degree of closing roads with everyone and their families who also result affected by the situation in which they live.
