Work on the Santa María Dam will end in December, the Government of Sinaloa.
The Governor of the State, Rubén Rocha Moya held a meeting with the general director of the Baluarte-Presidio Project, Santa María Dam of the National Water Commission, Cedric Iván Escalante Sauri and the project coordinator of the irrigation district of the Picachos dam, Isauro Martínez Orozco to analyze the progress made in these two projects, as well as with the aqueduct to supply drinking water to the municipality of Concordia.
In this sense, the state President was presented with the considerable advances registered by the hydraulic works, for which it is estimated that on the date set by the President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, which is December 31 of this year, completely completed the Santa María Dam and the respective irrigation districts of Santa María and the Picachos Dam.
The Governor was accompanied in this work meeting by the Secretary of Public Works, José Luis Zavala Cabanillas, and on behalf of Conagua were the coordinators of the works, including the director of Conagua’s Hydro-agricultural Infrastructure, Jesús Enrique Vázquez Lizárraga, the Technical Director of the North Pacific Basin Organization, Ramón López Flores and the environmental liaison of the North Pacific Basin Organization, Dolores Carrillo Esquerra.
The global investment made for this work will be 9 thousand 076 million pesos, according to data from the Government of México.
