The new Gran Acuario Mar de Cortés in Mazatlán is about to be inaugurated on April 29 and will undoubtedly not be the largest and most interesting in Mexico, Latin America, and perhaps the world where you can see samples of the more than 200 marine species of what Jacques Cousteau described as the “largest and most beautiful natural aquarium in the world” which is the so-called Gulf of California or Sea of Cortés, the director of these modern facilities, Rafael Lizárraga Favela, said in the interview.
