Conalep Mazatlán holds regional athletics event – El Sol de Mazatlán

In order to promote sport and culture in general, the conalep Mazatlán held a regional athletics event at the Benito Juárez sports unit, where around 10 students competed in their respective branches to win a pass to the state event to be held next June.

Among the schools participating in this event were those from the southern zone, among them Mazatlán with its three institutions: conalep 1, 2 and 3, as well as escuinapa and Rosario competing in branch manly and branch female in the 100 and 200 meters.

For the men’s branch in the 100 meters, the winner was Jesús Orlando Rendon Bonilla, who represented the Rosario team, while second place went to Christian de Jesús Lorenzano, from Mazatlán’s number 3 team; while in the 200 meters in the men’s branch, the first place went to Jesús Exiel Hernández Jiménez, from the number 1 team of Mazatlán.

In the women’s category, where there was only competition in the 100 meters, the winner was Azul Angelique santillan bouquets, campus representative conalep Mazatlán 1 located in the Urías neighborhood, in second place was the representative of Rosario, Romina Millán Nieblas.

Sergio Eduardo Flores Rubio, coordinator of events sports and cultural of conalep Mazatlán 3, assured that sport is something positive in the lives of young people.

“Well, we hope they get motivated, that they feel like it, these events are done for that, to support the youth that there is today and contribute something to them positive and that makes them go far in their personal life, in conalep Mazatlán We are not only interested in having good students, but also good people, and that is why we are here to do our part”said.
