The port of Mazatlán is experiencing a notable increase in the number of visitors, due to the marathon and triathlon, which is why the Civil Protection coordinator, Eloy Ruiz Gastelum, highlighted the importance of safety on the beaches.

Ruiz Gastelum urges visitors to approach lifeguards before entering the coastal area to check conditions and ensure a safe experience.

Furthermore, given the proximity of the Christmas festivities, the coordinator warns that a significant increase in tourist influx is expected during this month of December, he emphasizes that the beach area is particularly prominent in Mazatlán and, therefore, it is expected a greater concentration of tourists in that area.

The warning seeks to prevent incidents and ensure the safety of visitors, underscoring the importance of following lifeguard instructions and being aware of maritime conditions.
