Passenger bus overturns in Parras de la Fuente

 

 

At least twelve people were injured after a passenger bus overturned this Thursday afternoon in the municipality of Parras de la Fuente.

The events were recorded at kilometer 120 of the Matamoros – Mazatlán interoceanic highway, near the El Porvenir ejido, where a passenger bus of the México Bus line registered a rollover.

According to the first reports, the driver was overcome by fatigue, so after dozing at the wheel the unit went off the road, finally falling at the height of a stream.

After the report was made to the State Emergency System 911, elements of Civil Protection, Municipal and Civil Police of Coahuila, as well as the National Guard Highway Division, arrived at the scene, who became aware of the mishap in addition to flagging the place.

Red Cross paramedics also met at the scene, where according to preliminary data, twelve people were injured, of which they transferred two people in code green and two more in code yellow, to Clinic 6 of the IMSS in the Parrense municipality. .

It turned out that some people intended to arrive in Paila, however the final destination of the unit was Durango.
