This is what Claudia Sheinbaum said when registering her candidacy with the INE

 

México CITY.- This Sunday, Claudia Sheinbaum formalized her registration with the National Electoral Institute (INE) as a candidate for the Presidency of México, representing Morena and his allies.

The president advisor of the INE, Guadalupe Taddei, received the request and approved it, thus making Sheinbaum’s candidacy official.

In his statement, Sheinbaum called on citizens to consolidate what he called “the fourth transformation,” in reference to the vision of change proposed by the current president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

He highlighted the regeneration of public life, the prioritization of the well-being of Mexicans and the construction of a people’s government.

The candidate expressed her pride in President López Obrador and the achievements achieved during his mandate. She stressed that the current transformation represents the effort and defense of public and social interest by the Mexican people.

Claudia Sheinbaum He highlighted that México, under this administration, has gained respect worldwide, demonstrating an alternative path to the neoliberal model. He mentioned achievements such as the strength of the peso, the increase in the minimum wage and the improvement in the population’s standard of living.

Claudia Sheinbaum promises to advance in the transformation

He announced that on March 1 he will present the points of his government program, which will include reform initiatives proposed by López Obrador and will advance the transformation.

Among the aspects mentioned, he highlighted the importance of an honest government without corruption, the division between economic and political power, the defense of the supreme interest of the people and financial discipline to avoid increases in gasoline prices.

Sheinbaum addressed topics such as the guarantee of freedoms, respect for diversity, women’s safety, the budget for justice in indigenous peoples and constitutional social programs. She also mentioned the promotion of scientific development, constitutional rights, transportation consolidation, works such as the Mayan Train and energy sovereignty with emphasis on renewable energies.

Regarding the environment, food sovereignty (including the ban on genetically modified corn), foreign investment and a security strategy to guarantee justice were highlighted in the list of points presented by Claudia Sheinbaum.

The candidate took advantage of the occasion to criticize those who participated in the march for democracy, calling them hypocrites who promoted electoral fraud in the past.

She assured that México overcomes its machismo and considered the possibility of being the first female president as an enormous responsibility.

He extended his hand to all people to embark on a path of dialogue, following “the path traced by history that has no turning back.”
