Spectacular start for México in the U-15 Pan American Games

 

Mazatlán.- The Mexican ninth began its participation in the U-15 Pan American Games in the Dominican Republic with a resounding victory, where eight players from the Leones de Yucatán, a team from the ARHE Group, had an outstanding performance.

Six elements from Sinaloa are part of the Aztec ninth, who demonstrated their ability in both batting and defense.

The representative team of México exhibited its offensive power and effectiveness on the mound by defeating the Bahamas with a large score of 16-2, thus starting the tournament on the right foot.

México’s activity will continue this Sunday in the U-15 Pan American Games which grants five tickets to the Under 15 World Cup. This Sunday they will face Argentina, on Monday they will play against the Dominican Republic, on Tuesday against Brazil and they will close the group stage against Panama on Wednesday.

The top three teams in each group will advance to the Final Round of U-15 Pan American Games, scheduled for Thursday, March 21. In this stage, the third in each group will compete for fifth place in the World Cup, the second will seek the bronze medal and the first two will compete for the trophy and the gold medal.

Among the players of the Mexican team are six from Sinaloa: Alex Tolosa (Mazatlán), Luciano Colado (Mazatlán), Alfredo Magaña (Mazatlán), Gabriel Valdez (Culiacán), Edgar Melgar (Culiacán) and pitching coach Abraham Valdez (Mazatlán ), all of them from the Lions, in addition to Pedro Salas and Francisco del Campo.
