*The ravages of the fire in the Mazatlán garbage dump covers the boardwalk

*It is recommended to use face masks, especially in areas near the fire

Today, at the beginning of the Easter holidays, the Mazatlán boardwalk was enveloped in an apparent fog that is actually the smoke generated by the fire that occurred yesterday in the city’s garbage dump.

Municipal authorities have issued a preventive call to the population, urging the use of face masks due to the possible health risks caused by constant inhalation of smoke, especially in the neighborhoods near the site of the fire.

Despite the situation, numerous tourists, including children, continue to enjoy the beaches of Mazatlán, many of them possibly oblivious to the problem.

Although the fire is now under control, it has not yet been completely extinguished, local authorities continue to work to resolve the situation as soon as possible and ensure the safety of residents and visitors.
