The foundation work with drilling and assembly of structures with rods is progressing in the construction work of the uneven vehicular bridge on the Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta Bypass on Múnich Avenue, north of Mazatlán.
The work began during the second week of April with the conditioning of two lanes in each direction for vehicular traffic to leave the center lanes free for the personnel of the construction company that won the tender to begin the work.
During this week, workers carry out drilling with special machinery and assemble the structures with rods to insert them into said holes for what will be the foundation of the bridge.
According to the personnel consulted at the site, the structures are 25 meters long and up to 2 meters in diameter, which this week will begin to be introduced with the support of cranes into the drillings to later pour hydraulic concrete into them.
”The structures are 25 meters long and are about 2 meters in diameter, once they are introduced into the drillings, they will be poured with the slurry they say, left to set, beheaded and kept that way until the next stage,” they explained. .
Inside, the structures have a square or spiral shape,
According to what was publicly reported at the time, for the construction of this bridge there is a base budget of 233 million 881 thousand 355 pesos provided by the State Government.
Although the tender contemplates the completion date of the work as April 26, 2025, Mayor Édgar González Zataráin has publicly stated that they intend to expedite the work.
Due to this work, there is strong traffic congestion in the different directions of these two roads, mainly in those of the Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta Bypass.
To speed up circulation, Municipal Traffic Police personnel are deployed at the traffic lights at the intersection of these two roads, but drivers are also recommended to take Avenida de las Torres as an alternate route, which runs parallel to the Luis Donaldo Colosio Bypass. Murrieta, from the Citizen Security Center street or from the Manuel J. Clouthier Bypass to Santa Rosa Avenue.
The heavy traffic congestion in that area, which already had a lot of vehicular traffic, which is why the decision to build the bridge, occurs mainly at the times of entry and exit to jobs and schools.
