-Criminal demands money and flees with 6,500 pesos; authorities investigate assault with an intimidating note
Culiacan, Sinaloa.- On the morning of this Friday, May 31, a criminal committed a assault with intimidating note in a bank branch located in the first square of the Centro neighborhood of Culiacán. The robber entered the bank posing as a customer and went to one of the tills, where he handed over a note demanding the available money.
The bank employee, frightened by the assault with intimidating note, delivered 6,500 pesos in cash to the assailant. After obtaining the money, the criminal quickly left the scene, apparently with the help of an accomplice who was waiting for him in a getaway vehicle.

The incident was reported to the 9-1-1 emergency number, and several police forces immediately mobilized to the banking institution located on Domingo Rubí Avenue, between Antonio Rosales and General Rafael Buelna Tenorio. Bank staff informed the agents that the robber was dressed all in black.
State investigative police also went to the scene and began proceedings to continue the case. Authorities continue to investigate the assault with intimidating note and reviewing security cameras to identify those responsible and find their whereabouts.
This assault with intimidating note highlights the need for stricter security measures in banking institutions to protect both employees and customers.
