The Mar de Cortés Aquarium is getting ready for the high season, which begins on June 15, according to its general director, Simón Norris.

New attractions have been added, including sea lions, a penguin exhibit, and aviaries.

In addition to swimming with sharks, visitors can experience this unique attraction.

This window into the Sea of Cortez features over 3,000 species that visitors can appreciate.

On some days, they receive 7,000 to 9,000 people, and during the high season, they expect to surpass that number.

Between 8% and 10% of the visitors are foreigners, mainly from Canada and the United States, as highlighted by the general director of the Mar de Cortés Aquarium.

The project aims to strengthen the wildlife hospital, which has so far attended 170 species.

They are also working to expand the infrastructure and equip it with a laboratory to enhance care for the species.

Currently, there are three veterinarians specializing in fish, exotic animals, mammals, and birds.
