The interactive Oasis of Martiniano Carvajal Park is an attraction where thousands of tourist and Mazatlán children have fun, but it is under renovation and will be ready in approximately 15 days.

The above was announced by Mayor Edgar González Zatarain, as he explained that there are only details that remain to be done, such as finishing the concrete to later begin painting the premises.

He said that the bombs and the entire system that was damaged were placed, in addition, they will place a surveillance booth to supervise the little ones who come in to have fun.

“It’s a good place, the truth is that the children really like it, we are going to put a very nice guardhouse there as well within what is the Oasis,” he commented.

The councilor highlighted that they are also already manufacturing the Velaria canvas, which was destroyed by the past rains, therefore, this new one will be more resistant than the previous one.

González Zatarain reported that the investment in the renovation of the Oasis is 776 thousand pesos, while the resource for the Velaria is 2 million 131 thousand pesos, this covers the painting of the court, improvements in the lighting system and the new canvas .

In addition, he pointed out that once the work on the Martiniano Carvajal Park is completed, they will begin to maintain the area in front, including the rehabilitation of the Fisherman’s Monument.

“Practically, this point where everything is enabled will not be released, this will be enabled in 15 days, it is very busy, especially in summer when it is very hot and the children like this space, we are going to take advantage of it, it already had enough deteriorated weather,” he added.
