Claudia Sheinbaum says she still doesn’t know if she will live in the National Palace when she takes office – El Sol de Mazatlán

 

Merida Yucatan. On tour with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador through Yucatán, the president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum she said that she still does not know if she will live in the National Palace or somewhere else.

She said he was considering living somewhere nearby, although he previously said: “First, we have to wait for them to give me the certificate of majority, which will be in July or August when they decide,” she added.

She also added that this weekend she will define the possibility that the Mayan Train, in addition to transporting passengers, will be in charge of transporting cargo.

“We will see that this week. How much budget is required for next year to advance the freight train.”

The virtual president-elect also described the work tour of southeastern México as satisfactory.

She explained that during his tours and meetings with the people, they have expressed their wishes for “continued employment, continued transformation, and for us to fulfill the Mayan Renaissance.”

She also reiterated that the “Mayan Renaissance”, promoted by Joaquín Huacho Díaz, elected governor of Yucatán, will have full support and that the proposal of the next governor of Yucatán to expand the passenger train to Puerto Progreso is being reviewed.

Claudia Sheinbaum specified that when she takes office as President in October, she will continue all the projects of each state.
