MAZATLÁN.- With the aim of having the support of the Government of Mazatlán in all its events, the top management of Venados de Mazatlán, headed by its owner José Antonio Toledo Ortiz, held a meeting with Mayor Édgar González Zataráin. At this meeting, issues related to the 2024 Great Marathon and Triathlon were discussed.
Toledo Ortiz was accompanied by his youngest son, Luciano Marcelo Toledo Pinto, as well as Ismael Barros Cebreros, Paúl Luque Wiley and Yolanda Portillo. The directors presented the mayor with a proposal and a work plan for this athletics festival.
The events will take place over the weekend of November 29th to December 1st. Just like last year, it is expected to be an event full of emotions, sports and culture.
“Everything is going well, there is a lot of interest from people. Registrations will begin next week, with the announcement to be made in the next few days at the press conference.”

Toledo mentioned that last year 6,000 people participated and for this edition the number is expected to increase to 9,000. Expectations are high, since in the near future it is expected to reach a participation of between 12 and 13 thousand athletes from all over the country and abroad.
The Marathon and Triathlon are one of the biggest sporting events in the city, where people from different parts of the country and athletes from abroad come together, where Mazatlán delivers its picturesque joy to its inhabitants and its attractions more and more every day.
