MAZATLÁN.- The Third Edition of the Student Sports Olympiad was successfully inaugurated at the Benito Juárez Sports Unit, bringing together more than 1,500 students from primary, secondary and high schools, as well as authorities, coaches and parents.
Filiberto Padilla Martín, director of Physical, Artistic and Technological Education of the Secretariat of Public Education and Culture of Sinaloapraised the efforts of the Municipal Sports Institute of Mazatlán, IMDEM, in organizing the event.

Fabiola Judith Verde Rosas, head of IMDEM, welcomed the participants, highlighting the collaboration with educational institutions.
“This project is for young people to understand and love sport. Thank you parents and children, have fun!” he emphasized.
Also present were Víctor Manuel Sandoval Ceja, head of Sector VI of Primary Education, and IMDEM coordinators, who played a fundamental role in the inauguration.
More than 40 schools will compete in the Olympics, marking a milestone in student sports in Mazatlán.
