UAS students break into Congress Sinaloa to protest against the reform of the Organic Law

A contingent of students from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS) demonstrated in the State Congress during the reading of the opinion to approve the reform to the Organic Law of the institution.

The vice-rector of the UAS central zone, Wenceslas Plata Rocha accused the deputies of acting outside the law and violating the autonomy of the UAS, They read it illegally to the opinion of the reform to the Organic Law.

“The deputies, as has been customary, held a session in fast track, a session in the dark, wanting to give a coup d’état at the university they changed their location; this is the people’s location, where the people have the right to come and demonstrate, but following their procedures they change to a private location. He also assured that the university students will continue to defend the autonomy of its institution by legal means.
