CULIACÁN.- ARHE Group, a Sinaloa company chaired by MI Juan José Arellano Hernández, receives the Distinctive Sinaloa for Gender Equality in the Workplace 2024, together with 26 companies that meet these criteria throughout the state.
This distinction aims to advance the establishment of conditions that promote equal rights and opportunities for women and men in the workplace.

Gloria Arce López, legal manager of the UPC Business Unit and a 17-year collaborator of Grupo ARHE, was the one who received the award from Governor Rubén Rocha Moya.
ARHE Group is a company that stands out for supporting and promoting the professional growth of its employees, both men and women, equally.
For years it has strived to be a socially responsible company and as a result of these actions, Grupo ARHE today receives the Distinctive Sinaloa for Gender Equality in the Workplace.
The award ceremony took place in the Governors Hall of the Government Palace.
Companies are concerned about gender equality: Governor
The Governor of SinaloaRubén Rocha Moya, accompanied by Javier Gaxiola Coppel, Secretary of Economy; and Ana Francis Chiquite, head of the Women’s Secretariat, presented the award to 27 Sinaloa companies.
This year, Rocha Moya explained, 75 companies participated in the competition, of which 27 met the requirements, compared to last year when 19 workplaces were awarded.
“The awareness that businessmen, women, and the teams that work and form companies are receiving is very commendable that they are making progress in this regard, that is why we are giving them this distinction, we are thinking of this distinction as a motivation,” he said.
For her part, the head of the Women’s Secretariat, Ana Chiquete Elizalde, acknowledged that the companies awarded with the distinction contribute to the sustainable development of society by offering equal opportunities and professional development to men and women.
What does the Distinctive recognize? Sinaloa for Gender Equality in the Workplace?
This distinctive feature, which Grupo ARHE now has:
- Recognizes good practices in terms of equality between men and women in the workplace
- It seeks to promote equality of opportunity and access, as well as development and promotion at work, eliminating gender discrimination in hiring, remuneration or working conditions and facilitating work-life balance that allows balancing family and personal responsibilities.
- It aims to reduce the gender pay gap by ensuring that women and men receive equal pay for work of equal value, strengthen female empowerment and prevent violence.
