Mazatlán.- Within the framework of the International Cerebral Palsy Day, which will be celebrated on Sunday, October 6, the Letty Coppel Foundation organizes its 7th Charity Run and Walk, with the expectation of a great turnout, like every year.
Conny Velarde Juárez, coordinator of the Foundation in Mazatlán and organizer of the event, highlighted that the objective is to promote inclusion and raise awareness about cerebral palsy.
«This race is very cool. Last year we bought 400 t-shirts, but this year there will be 100 more, thanks to the support of companies such as Grupo Panamá and Banda El Recodo.

Velarde Juárez added that the event is very colorful, since the three best costumes are also awarded, so decorate your wheelchair or bicycle, the idea is to enjoy a pleasant moment.
The event, completely family-friendly, will begin at 7:00 am on Leonismo Internacional Avenue and will have two modalities:
- Hike: 2 kilometers, open to children and people with disabilities, with awards for the best costumes.
- Competition career: 5 kilometers in the free category, with prizes for the first three places.

Cost: Donation of 270 pesos, destined for the foundation’s programs to support children and young people with disabilities.
