MAZATLÁN._ Parents, friends and neighbors of the Colonia Esperanza have been blocking traffic in both directions of the Colosio Bypass since 3:20 p.m. this Wednesday, near the Colonia of the same name, due to the disappearance of the young men Nery Alejandro Villalobos Bustamante and Alejandro Trujillo Cruz, in this port.
“We want justice,” “We want justice,” “Government, where are you?” they exclaim.
Carrying placards with photos of the two missing youths, family members, friends and neighbours are demanding that all three levels of government take action and locate these young people.
“We are on the verge of madness,” “where is the government?” “We are not going crazy,” desperate mothers shout.
“These young people were taken away, our children were taken from us, we are fed up with so much insecurity in México.”
Adults, young people and children participate in this demonstration.
Nery Alejandro Villalobos Bustamante and Alejandro Trujillo Cruz have been missing since last Sunday, September 22 and Monday, September 23, in this port.
As of 4:30 p.m., no authorities have appeared at the scene.
Due to the blockade, long queues of vehicles have already formed.
The desperation of drivers increases, some drivers of small cars take to the side streets, but trailers, buses, trucks and cranes do not fit on the roads.
Motorcyclists and drivers of some vehicles do not respect the law and try to cross by stepping onto the median strip and sidewalk, risking running over protesters.
The protesters have already moved to the overpass in both directions to prevent vehicles from taking alternate streets, as they have not received any response from the authorities.
Some vehicles are stuck and cannot move.
