Mazatlán. – The Halloween festivities on October 31 are approaching, and with them the expectation of numerous parties for young people in Mazatlán grows. However, the Chief Officer, Rogelio Olivas Osuna, reported that so far no request for permits has been received from halls or nightclubs to hold events that day.
Although some establishments have promoted large costume parties on social networks, they have not formalized any request with the authorities.
«Officially, we have not received any requests from halls or nightclubs to organize Halloween events. However, we have identified two that will soon begin selling tickets,” Olivas explained.
The official announced that visits will be made to businesses that are announcing events to investigate why they have not requested the necessary permits. In addition, on Halloween day an operation will be implemented to verify compliance with the regulations.
If any lounge or nightclub is detected operating without permission or with the presence of minors, it will be closed and a fine will be imposed.
“If we find minors at a party, we will act against the hall, nightclub or restaurant that was held for this event,” he stated.
