Delta Is Giving Away 0 Gift Cards Every Month Through April 2025 — What to Know

Delta Air Lines is going retro with a new “8-bit feel” in-flight game, offering passengers the opportunity to win hundreds in airline gift cards each month. Passengers can now play Delta’s Sky Hopper game by connecting to the in-flight Wi-Fi and competing to win a $400 Delta gift card every month until April 24, 2025, as stated by the airline.

The game is available in the entertainment section after logging into the Wi-Fi portal with your SkyMiles membership number on your mobile device. “With Sky Hopper, we’re providing our SkyMiles Members with something enjoyable and unexpected to anticipate each time they fly with us,” said Sarah Honeyman, Managing Director of IFEC Engagement and Optimization at Delta.

“We are dedicated to evolving the in-flight experience with entertainment options that appeal to all of our customers while introducing them to the numerous ways they can grow their world with SkyMiles and get rewarded for their loyalty,” she added.

As part of the game, players will collect SkyMiles facts about the airline’s loyalty program and partners. After completing the game and collecting at least one SkyMiles fact (and seeing the “game over” screen), they will be entered into a drawing to win a $400 Delta gift card. Travelers may enter up to 10 times per flight or up to 30 entries per month.

Passengers who are not planning on flying anytime soon can also enter to win the gift card by mailing their first name, last name, and email associated with their SkyMiles account to the Delta Sky Hopper Game Sweepstakes P.O. box 20706, Atlanta, GA 30354.

The sweepstakes comes as Delta expands its free Wi-Fi service to international flights. The airline initially introduced free Wi-Fi in the United States in 2022 and has since equipped more than 90% of its domestic mainline fleet with the service. Delta stated that it “expects the vast majority of customers” will have access to free Wi-Fi by the end of 2024, and regional routes are expected to be operational sometime in 2025.
