Residents of the United States and Canada could be ambassadors of Mazatlán

Mazatlán.- Residents of the United States and Canada could become ambassadors of Mazatlán. Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez invited them.

With the idea of ​​strengthening ties and teaming up for the good of Mazatlán, he met with about 40 members of the Friends of México civil association.

The Mayor was accompanied by the head of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries of the City Council, Celia Jáuregui Ibarra, and the director of the Center for Tourist Attention and Protection, Capta; Ali René Zamudio Garza.

And on behalf of Friends of México, there were Linda Hanawalt and Lissy Bernal, president and vice president, respectively.

“I made a special request to all the friends of México, Friends of México, to continue promoting Mazatlán as a destination where both Canadians and Americans can come here to enjoy,” he declared.

“They have all these opportunities to come and enjoy Mazatlán. My request to Friends of México is that they continue promoting and continue to be tourist ambassadors of Mazatlán par excellence.”

Palacios Domínguez expressed that the group of friends from México confirmed their preference for the Mazatlán port, especially because of the climate, the great cultural offering, the exquisite gastronomy and new tourist attractions that have emerged.

The Mayor pointed out that another important factor that has influenced the arrival of tourism is international air connectivity in this winter season, which increased by 18 percent compared to the previous year.
