This event, which is non-competitive in nature, will bring together professional cyclists, champions and Olympic athletes from México, who will participate in a convivial atmosphere.
In addition to the sporting activity, the Ciclotour Mazatlán generates an important economic benefit estimated between 15 million and 18 million pesos, since many participants arrive accompanied by their families to enjoy the attractions of the port.
“We have made an effort to travel the route 4 times in the last month and I can tell you that everything is normal, everything is calm, nothing is out of what one can expect.
“So I don’t see any risk in doing the route, in traveling it by car, or by bike, or anything,” he commented.
The Ciclotour Mazatlán Edition 14 will include two routes: one of 70 kilometers and another of 140 kilometers. Both will start at 6:30 in the morning from Helimaz.
The 70-kilometer route will pass along the boardwalk, with a turn at the Fisherman’s Monument, and continue to the Mazagua Water Park, passing through El Habal and El Salto, and then return to the starting point.
The 140 kilometer route will travel along the boardwalk to the Monument of the Shield of Sinaloa and Mazatlán, will continue along Gabriel Leyva Avenue towards the airport and will pass through various communities, including El Vainillo, Cofradía, El Recodo, Presa Picachos, Puerta de San Marcos, La Noria and El Habal, ending again in Helimaz.
