Escuinapa, Sinaloa.- A tragic accident on a baseball field in Tequalilla, south of Escuinapa, resulted in the death of William Orismar, an 11-year-old boy. The minor suffered an accidental blow to the head with a baseball bat, which caused internal bleeding that cost him his life.
The incident occurred during a sports practice, when the bat accidentally flew and hit William in the head. Immediately, his father took him in a private vehicle to the municipal capital in the hope of receiving urgent medical attention.
Although the support of the emergency forces was requested to intercept the vehicle in which the minor was traveling, the Red Cross ambulance was unable to locate him in time. William was admitted to the Social Security Clinic, where, despite medical efforts, he died due to the severity of the blow.
Security elements went to the hospital to protect the area, while personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office began the corresponding investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
