Mazatlán Red Cross invites the real estate sector to train in first aid

Mazatlán.- Given the accelerated growth of the real estate sector in Mazatlán, Jesús Santiago Jiménez Alvarado, Training and Prevention Coordinator of the Mazatlán Red Cross, urged construction companies to train their staff in first aid.

This initiative seeks to reduce response times in work emergencies, in addition to promoting safety and preserving life.

During the month of October, 47 people participated in workshops offered by the institution, with first aid standing out as the most requested.

Jiménez Alvarado pointed out that companies that are dedicated to the construction of hotels, buildings, even subdivisions, manage a very large human resource and are very exposed to risks, to accidents.

“For this reason, it is necessary that, at least, among each crew, among each group of workers, someone knows first aid.”

This course includes topics such as identifying vital signs, responding to choking, managing wounds, controlling massive bleeding, and knowing when to call for an ambulance.

Jiménez Alvarado stressed that these trainings are not only important for construction companies, but for any type of organization, since accidents can occur at any time.

Mazatlán Red Cross, he said, guarantees quality and experience in its workshops, and makes its contact available for more information at 669 147 0159, or directly at its offices located at Avenida Ignacio Zaragoza #1801, Colonia Centro, at 9:00 a.m. at 5:00 p.m.
