A morning of joy and camaraderie was experienced in the Sixth Edition of the Oyster 5KM Race, organized by the amusement center, in conjunction with the Government chaired by Estrella Palacios Domínguez, through the Mazatlán Municipal Sports Institute (IMDEM).

As part of the promotion and promotion of sport, which is one of the main strategic axes of the 2024-2027 administration of President Estrella Palacios, for the well-being of girls, boys, young people and adults, the sporting event, which brought together 500 participants.

Attending the start of the competition were Christian Mondragón Jiménez, General Manager of Joe’s Oyster Bar; José Ontiveros Peñuelas, IMDEM Sports Promotion Coordinator; as well as Fabiola Judith Verde Rosas, Director of the Mazatlán Municipal Sports Institute, the latter, representing President Palacios Domínguez.

“A very successful sixth edition, thanks to the support of the entire Mazatlán society, of the communities, teams and athletic clubs that came together, which contributed to a great race with a cause, with a beautiful route,” said Verde Rosas.

The hundreds of participants were united by sports, since the proceeds from the event will be donated in sports equipment for the disciplines of table tennis, 5-a-side baseball and chess.
