Mazatlán.- The south of Sinaloa It has already started its industrial activity. The Totorame industrial park in Tetakawi, in Mazatlán, and Sumitomo, in Escuinapa, started operations, applauded the leader of Canacintra.
Sergio Rojas Velarde, president of the National Chamber of the Processing Industry, Canaintra, mentioned that the Tetakawi park operates with its first company called CPP, with a park projection that will generate more than 10 thousand direct and indirect jobs.

“Since August they started with training, hiring personnel and they started in October, they are operating normally… it is a company that is manufacturing parts for turbines, that is their specialty,” he declared.
Rojas Velarde pointed out that, tentatively, in 2025, a second industrial warehouse will start in this park, aimed at the aerospace industry, with an estimate of more than 3 thousand people working per company in this park.
Tetakawi laid the first stone in Mazatlán in October 2023, announcing the arrival of manufacturing in the south of Sinaloa.
It has a presence in Sonora and Coahuila with nearly 22 thousand jobs; They have more than 200 hectares of Class A industrial development; They work with more than 70 companies in the aforementioned areas; with customs declaration of more than 2.9 billion dollars annually.
On the other hand, in Escuinapa, added the president of Canacintra, the Sumitomo company has already started operations with ATR Sumitomo, a company that is dedicated to the manufacture of harnesses and that will generate more than a thousand direct jobs in the area.
“On the industrial side we are going to experience the best three years to come, they will be decisive for the sector in the south of Sinaloa”, said.
It was in November 2022 when Governor Rubén Rocha Moya announced the arrival of Sumitomo to the south of Sinaloa specifically in Escuinapa.
It currently has plants in Los Mochis and El Carrizo in Ahome; Guasave and El Fuerte
