MANZANILLO.- The President of México, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, gave the starting signal for the construction of the Puerto Nuevo Manzanillo Cuyutlán, which will be one of the most modern and ecological facilities in the world.

Nuevo Manzanillo will have an area of ​​1,800 hectares, in which there will be 63 billion pesos between public and private investment, in its first and second stages.

The governor of Colima, Indira Vizcaíno, highlighted that the work will bring great benefits, not only in commercial terms, but also for the well-being of the entire region.

“We see it not only in commercial terms but also what it means in terms of well-being for the people of Colima in this shared prosperity that will be generated in this region and that we will be very attentive to continue to meet these objectives” , said.
