Sergio Antonio Leyva López, head of the SSPyTM, supervised the actions carried out in coordination with Municipal Civil Protection, in which units of various corporations were deployed by various strategic points to provide security to tourists and premises who are enjoying holidays.
According to a count made by the authorities, the entry of 21,863 people was recorded, of which they arrived in a total of 3,879 vehicles.
On the other hand, 15 people saw the need to be assisted by health personnel after suffering minor injuries, such as falls, scratches or headache; In addition, 9 vehicle owners were assisted by the authorities for suffering mechanical failures in their units or other types of mishaps.
The operation was deployed from 07:00 to 6:00 p.m. and will remain in force until this Sunday with the supervision of the three levels of government and the aid personnel to preserve security, public order and provide timely care to whoever requires it.
The SSPyTM reiterated the call to citizens to follow the indications of the authorities, conduct with responsibility and report any emergency situation through 9-1-1.
