There are operations to provide security to vacationers and the population, reports Governor Rocha

A great influx in the different vacation centers and recreational places is maintained in this Holy Week, as confirmed by Governor Rubén Rocha Moya during the visit he made to the Ceremonial Center of Tehueco, in the municipality of El Fuerte after yesterday Friday he attended the beach of Las Gorias, in Guasave; highlighting the operations that are in cities as in recreational centers for vacationist safety.

“Many people are attending the holiday centers, everything is well attended, I already went to the beaches, I went to the Sierra for Surutato,” said Governor Rocha when he was approached by the media upon his arrival in Tehueco, where he was received by the municipal president of El Fuerte Gildardo Leyva Ortega to witness the millenary rituals that the Mayos Yoremes perform in each Holy Week.

After enjoying the rituals, the state president made throughout the ceremonial center and the Church, and in response to the requests he received from the inhabitants, promised to manage the restoration of both places, complying with the guidelines of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).

It should be noted that, despite being a holiday period, the governor of the State made work tours to deliver works in communities of Mocorito and Badiraguato, in addition to supervising the advances of the road to the Palmar de los Sepúlveda in Sinaloa municipality.

Likewise, it carried out tours of various beaches and spas to verify the operations, the attention to tourists and visitors, and mainly greet and live with people, talk with restaurants, vendors and service providers, given the great influx that holiday centers have registered.

This Saturday the state president also visited the indigenous community of Tehueco in the municipality of El Fuerte where the millenary celebrations of Holy Week Yoreme are developed, which combine Catholic traditions and native culture in the representation of the passion, death and resurrection of Christ, activities that gather hundreds of settlers and visitors in their ceremonial centers.

Governor Rubén Rocha has been a great promoter of the rescue of traditions, customs and their language, but also of the maintenance of ceremonial centers, which are pride of Yoremes peoples and has led to being declared intangible heritage of humanity by Unesco.

In addition, the state president has demonstrated his respect and thanks for the indigenous communities of Sinaloa to which he has brought countless road works, drains, drinking water, school infrastructure and new streets, to dignify the lives of its inhabitants, as Sinaloans who are and their great contribution to the culture provided throughout the centuries, so during their stay in Tehueco greeted participants and residents who continue working to maintain their customs and manifested their support to continue supporting them to continue supporting them to continue supporting them to continue supporting them to continue supporting them to continue support indigenous communities of the entire entity.
