Huge economic and tourist reactivation will have Mazatlán with the arrival, this morning, of the “Zaandam” and “Carnival Panorama” cruises, with 6,125 passengers that will come to add to the “bikers” that start their activities today in the International Motorcycle Week, to be held from April 23 to 26.
The Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa Mireya Sosa Osuna, said that this demonstrates the confidence that is deposited in the port to continue considering it as an adequate space for the realization of mass events and the shipping companies by maintaining the route of their maritime cruises.
With the two vessels that arrived this day, they add four this week and nine so far this month, with 32,937 passengers and 10,983 crew.

This morning, the entrance of the first tourist vessel, the “Zaandam”, occurred at 07:45 hours, from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, with 1,367 passengers and will follow its journey at 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to Cabo San Lucas, BCS.

Sosa Osuna explained that the cruise members who descend take advantage of their stay to visit and know the attractive places of the city such as the historic center, the Malecon, the diver, the golden zone, the lighthouse, cathedral, the beaches, among others, in addition to walking through the rural area and other vicious places, in which they generate an important economic spill.
From January 1 to April 23, 2025, 45 cruises in total have arrived in Mazatlán, with 170,837 cruise members, which generated an economic spill of 265 million pesos.
