Historic Center Council delivery uniforms to the Blue Shirt

 

Mazatlán.- With the purpose of strengthening the tourist image of the port, the Council of the Historic Center of Mazatlán delivered this Friday 70 t-shirts to the group of volunteers known as Tourist Aide Volunteers Blue Shirt.

These are members of a volunteer program formed mainly by foreign residents who offer guidance and accompaniment to tourists who arrive aboard cruises.

From the Asipona dock to the Machado square, these Blue Shirt travel the blue pedestrian line providing help and information to visitors.

The delivery was carried out at the facilities of the Petroil Group Corporate and was headed by the president of the Council, Amado Guzmán; the Treasurer Saúl Gaxiola; the executive director, Berenice Rodríguez; and the vowels Laura Graef, Maggi Rojas and Mónica Sandoval.

During the event, the raffle of the work “Kiss on the Malecon” was also announced, donated by Master Jorge Salcido and his wife Cecy Coppel, in commemoration of the 60 years of experience of the artist.

The funds raised will be used for future projects of the Historic Center Council.

The counselor Elsy López was especially recognized for her management in the donation of the uniforms and in the organization of the raffle, whose tickets are already available in the council offices.
