México City.- During the sixth ordinary session of the National Council of Morena held this Sunday at the World Trade Center in México City, the party unanimously approved new ethical guidelines that seek to eradicate nepotism, the improper use of public resources and the acts of ostentation between its militants and representatives.

The new rules require that those who aspire to public office act with republican austerity, reject privileges, maintain independence of factual powers and promote equality.

It is established as mandatory to re -election and avoid any behavior that implies personal, family or group benefit with public resources.

Among the specific prohibitions are: first class trips, use of armored or private vehicles, political tourism, excessive private security, participation in international congresses without justification, and exhibition of luxuries such as jewelry, designer clothes, expensive cars or high -level tourism.
