Guadalupe y Calvo.- The president of México, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, said that in México justice has not been a couple, so, today that everyone can decide who the members of the Judiciary will be, it is time to vote and transform the judicial system of the country.
This was said in an event at the Tepehuano ceremonial center, in Baborigame, of the Sierra Tarahumara.

“Historically, the one who has money has been treated, and the poor is not done justice. Therefore, the people of México decided that now the Judiciary will be elected by the people,” he said.
Sheinbaum summons to vote to achieve justice for the poor
He summoned to participate in the next elections on June 1, in which judges, magistrates and ministers will be elected.
The president visited the region to supervise the advances of the Justice Plan for the peoples of the Sierra Tarahumara, initiated in 2021 to settle a historical debt with the original peoples.
Before the official act, he participated in a traditional indigenous ceremony, in which women from the original peoples attacked her with typical garments and gave her a command cane.

Accompanied by traditional rare authorities, ODAMI and Tepehuano, as well as inhabitants of various mountain communities, signed two decrees that restore 820 hectares to indigenous communities.
Of those 820 hectares, 502.3 hectares are from the Eldami Community of Table Colorada and 317.9 of the Mogóvo Raremuri Community.
“Today we don’t come to deliver the earth only, we come to stay with you,” said Sheinbaum.
He announced that the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples will maintain a permanent presence in the region.
“This act is part of the fourth transformation and thought of Mexican humanism, which recognizes our cultural roots in the original peoples,” he said.
Indigenous women, pillars of Mexican culture
The president, who was accompanied by officials of her cabinet, said that indigenous women are a fundamental pillar of Mexican culture.
“It is you who teach the language, who care for children and grandchildren. Therefore, this government recognizes their work and dignity,” he said.
He also promised to establish nursing schools in the region so that young people from the communities are trained as health personnel and remain in their locations.
In addition, he instructed his team to follow up on road works and electrical service, access to water, forest restoration and expansion of the Sow life program.
On her second visit to the Sierra Tarahumara since she assumed the position, the chief of the Executive said that Justice is for the Earth to return to those who always took care of her.

Advanza Justice Plan of the Tarahumara peoples
During the presentation of advances of the Justice Plan for the peoples of the Sierra Tarahumara, Adolfo Regino Montes, director of the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples (INPI), reported that 5,441 million pesos have been invested in actions that range from electrification to artisanal paths.
He highlighted the support of the Sowing Life program, with 102 thousand beneficiaries and an investment of 591 million, and the 30 million pesos allocated this year to combat forest fires.
The Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel, announced that 354 million pesos were assigned from the contributions to the social infrastructure for the Tepehuan and Raramuris peoples, of which 10 million will be invested directly in Baborigame.
The Secretary of Territorial and Urban Development, Edna Vega, stressed that last December the federal government began with the recognition of traditional communal property, and that to date they have restored in total 2,998.9 hectares to indigenous peoples in the country.
