Star Palacios starts paving in the Flores Magón and Venadillo

 

Mazatlán.- After more than four decades of waiting, the residents of Las Rosas Street, in the Ricardo Flores Magón neighborhood, will finally see their road paved.

This Tuesday, the municipal president, Estrella Palacios Domínguez, headed the start of the work that is part of the Annual Public Works Program 2025.

“We are building the second floor of the fourth transformation. This street will be complete, with pavement, water and drainage. It is a work that responds to the well -being of families and the commitment of a government that does listen,” he said.

The project not only includes a new 15 -centimeter thick hydraulic pavement in a stretch of more than 770 square meters between Jacarandas and Capomo streets, but also the integral rehabilitation of drinking water and sanitary drainage networks, with their respective domiciliary shots and discharges.

The investment will be 2 million 608 thousand 999 pesos, from the City Council.

This work is part of the strategic axis “Mazatlán orderly and efficient” of the Municipal Plan for Development 2024–2027.

Cristina Ovalle Acosta, director of Public Works, explained that the work represents a significant improvement in the quality of life for the residents of the area, who for years deal with roads in poor condition and poor services.

For its part, Nancy Esmeralda Guerrero President of the Neighborhood Committee, he celebrated that citizen management has finally paid off.

“Today is a very special day. For years we played doors and we weren’t heard. Today, thanks to President Estrella Palacios, that dream will be a reality,” he said.

Start paving in Venadillo

Estrella Palacios gave the starting flag to the paving of Pastor Zazueta street, between Ángel Flores and Huanacaxtle, in the El Venadillo neighborhood, a work that includes the rehabilitation of drinking water and drainage networks.

With an investment of more than 2 million 500 thousand pesos, from the City Council of the City Council, the work will benefit dozens of families in the sector.

“This is a complete package work: pavement and hydrosanitary network. We want them to live better and have a government that does listen and serve them,” said Palacios Domínguez.

The Director of Public Works explained that 929.76 m² of premix concrete, 282.20 linear meters of garrisons will be placed, and 131 meters of pipe for drainage and drinking water will be renewed, with their respective shots and discharges.

Rosa Lorena Fernández, a neighbor of the place, thanked on behalf of the community the realization of this long -awaited work.
