Mazatlán.- Mazatlán records an 83 % advance in the 2025 Works Plan, with 114 projects already in execution, said the municipal president, Estrella Palacios Domínguez, who stressed that the actions focus on social paving and rehabilitation of hydrosanitary infrastructure, under the Mazatlán program underway.
The Plan includes a total of 137 public works, with a global investment of 336 million pesos, framed in the strategic axis “Ordered and efficient Mazatlán” of the Municipal Plan for Development 2024–2027.
“We are advancing very well for the closing of the year. Of the 137 works that we set ourselves, we have already been delivered, some have already been delivered, others are in execution and some more are about to tend.
All this is part of Mazatlán underway, our priority program, which gives attention to hydrosanitary rehabilitation, social paving, roofs and other infrastructure works, ”he said.
Palacios Domínguez said that of the 114 works that are active, 46 have already been completed, 45 are in process, 6 in tender, 14 for tender and 3 to start.

The mayor stressed that thanks to the efficient and time execution, savings have been achieved for more than 12 million pesos, which has allowed expanding the scope of the works without increasing the budget, benefiting a greater number of colonies and rural communities.
Among the areas that have received paving or rehabilitation of drinking water and drainage networks are: Mazatlán I, II and III, Rincon de Urias, Magón Flores, Valleles del Ejido, Francisco I. Madero, Universe, Pino Suárez, November 20, Doña Chonita, Jaripillo and Benito Juárez, among others.
The Mazatlán program seeks to improve the quality of life of citizens, attending lags in basic services and strengthening the urban and rural infrastructure of the municipality.
