Cultural day in Mazatlán promotes reading, cinema and collective memory

 

Mazatlán.- The Government of Mazatlán and the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art call on citizens to participate this Tuesday, November 4, in a series of free cultural and educational activities in the Municipal Public Libraries, with the aim of strengthening reading, creativity and collective memory.

At 4:00 pm, the Ing. Manuel Bonilla Public Library, in Plazuela de los Leones, will host the Grandfather Tuesday program, directed by Karime Aglaed Tiznado.

The space seeks to stimulate the minds and senses of older adults through readings and playful dynamics.

At the Carlos McGregor Public Library, located in the Casa Hogar of the Juárez neighborhood, 12 Doors to Reading will take place at 3:00 pm

This workshop, directed by Carolina García together with Alicia Morán and Rosalba Sandoval, offers reading of stories, poetry and music in a safe and inclusive environment for all audiences.

The “Margarita Ramírez de González” Library, at Infonavit El Conchi, will welcome teenagers and adults at 4:00 pm with Cineratura, a space that combines cinema and reading.

In addition, at the Ing. Manuel Clouthier Library, in the Francisco Villa neighborhood, the Memory Registration Workshop will be held, coordinated by Johana García, Pedro Aguiar and Irma Osuna, where attendees will share memories and experiences that will be recorded and accompanied by complementary activities.
