The Norwegian Bliss cruise ship arrives in Mazatlán with almost 3,800 passengers

 

The Norwegian Bliss tourist cruise anchored this Thursday morning at the pier of the Mazatlán maritime terminal.

Mazatlán adds 83 arrivals with 308 thousand passengers in 2025.

Like every high season for cruise ship arrivals, Thursdays are by boat and the bay becomes attractive for those who like to enjoy the cruise ship’s entrance through the port breakwater.

The ship arrived around 8:30 a.m., bringing with it 5,390 people on board, of which 3,744 are passengers and 1,616 crew members.

The Bahamas-flagged ship arrived from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and will continue its journey at 5:00 p.m. to Baja California Sur.

Passengers will take advantage of their stay to visit various sites already programmed in their itinerary, through the Historic Center, the Golden Zone and the boardwalk, in addition to taking excursions to places such as the Lighthouse, by tour buses, vans or taxis.

In addition to the walks that some decide to tour the city center through the historic heart.

While merchants and tourism service providers expect a significant economic benefit in restaurants, local businesses and guided tours and then resume their journey to the South California port of Cabo San Lucas.

The Norwegian Bliss cruise ship has arrived in several Mexican ports, such as Acapulco in January 2023 and Mazatlán in March and now returned in November 2025.

Its current itinerary may vary, as it makes different routes throughout the year, such as those to Alaska in summer, depending on the shipping company’s schedule and the seasons.

This cruise is the second of 18 that will arrive in November. On Tuesday the Princess Cruise arrived.

In the first fortnight of the month, arrivals are scheduled on November 6, 11, 12 and 13, while for the second part cruises will arrive on the 16th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th and 27th.

And in the sum of the year, in January 13 cruise ships arrived with 48,351 passengers; in February eight boats with 31,943 visitors; In March, 15 cruise ships with 57,579 passengers were added and in April, 12 ships with 40,779 visitors were received.

For May the number of cruises was seven, with 21,701 passengers; in June there were three, with 13,768 visitors; In July, four vessels with 17,692 passengers were added; In August the total arrivals were three cruise ships with 13,283 visitors; In September there were five boats with 18,615 passengers and in October there were 12 boats with a total of 41,380 passengers.

The Norwegian Bliss ship, which was inaugurated in 2018 and renovated in 2025, carries out different itineraries, including the Caribbean.

For now, Mazatlán will be arriving next Thursday, November 13, 20 and 27.
