On November 16, through the Secretary of Security Sinaloa it was reported that nine people were detained due to an armed confrontation.
The incident occurred in the municipality of The Guasimal after an attack between possibly armed civilians was reported. Therefore, local authorities went to the site.
The operation was supported by federal forces and area supervision by helicopter.
Presumably, when the authorities arrived at the site, they found two vehicles, inside which there were 4 armed, lifeless civilians. Later, a fifth victim was found.

At the scene, 9 alleged perpetrators of the armed confrontation were arrested. With this, tactical equipment, long weapons, as well as a Minimi 5.56 x 44mm caliber machine gun, an Ordinance 7.62 x 51 mm caliber, 21 long weapons, 18 ballistic vests, 2,050 7.62 x 39 mm caliber cartridges, and a disc magazine were secured, along with three armored vehicles, clandestinely.
It has not been indicated whether those involved are directly linked to any group of the racketeering.
