Mazatlán.- For Mayor Estrella Palacios, the constant arrival of cruise ships confirms that Mazatlán is a safe port, where thousands of tourists enjoy the boardwalk, beaches and Historic Center, while the city receives an important economic boost that strengthens its projection as a reliable and attractive destination.
The municipal president indicated that this week the port will receive six vessels, three of them arrived on Wednesday, November 12, one of the busiest days of the month.
In total, the arrival of more than 18 thousand passengers is expected, which represents an important economic benefit and an additional boost to the tourist projection of the destination.

“This week in total we are going to receive six cruises; yesterday we had three, today we received another, we already received another and on Sunday we are going to receive another. There are around 18 thousand passengers among all the cruises that we are going to receive, which means a good economic benefit and helps us to continue promoting Mazatlán.”

Palacios Domínguez added that the constant movement of vessels reflects confidence in the security of the port.
“The arrival of all these cruise ships is a very good sign that Mazatlán is a safe destination,” he stated.
On Wednesday, November 12, the Norwegian Jade, Carnival Panorama and Nieuw Amsterdam arrived simultaneously, whose passengers toured the Historic Center, the Cathedral, the boardwalk and the port beaches.
The November agenda continues this Thursday the 13th with the Norwegian Bliss. The Royal Princess is expected on Tuesday the 18th; on Wednesday the 19th, to the Norwegian Jade; and on Thursday the 20th again to Norwegian Bliss. On Friday the 21st the Ruby Princess will dock.
The activity will continue on Tuesday the 25th with the Royal Princess, while on Wednesday the 26th Mazatlán will experience another triple arrival with the Norwegian Jade, Carnival Panorama and Nieuw Amsterdam. The month will close on Thursday the 27th with the arrival of Norwegian Bliss and Navigator of the Seas.
