Problems and Protests Government without Answers

When reading the daily press and watching the news on television, you have to look “with a magnifying glass” for the good news, those that do not contradict reality, that are only good wishes of the rulers or that are practically “ideological propaganda” of the government, which has been leading the country to economic and social statism, taking advantage of the total and absolute control over the Legislative and Judicial powers.

It is clear that stronger laws and sanctions have been approved against extortionists, although the extortions of the treasury that threaten and decide to block accounts and carry out constant audits of the perpetrators are not included, who resort to the courts exercising their right to challenge tax collections that they consider illegal.

It is also clear that better legislation has been approved with stronger sanctions for crimes against the environment, without clarifying when and how to sanction the rulers who are destroying forests in Yucatan or authorizing overexploitation of water, pollution of beaches and who do not comply with the environmental commitments in the Paris Agreements; It has been said repeatedly that in México the problem is not in the lack of laws, but in compliance with those that are already in force, since corruption, leniency and lack of political will keep the country in constant violation of the Rule of Law.

President Sheinbaum does not want to recognize that each march, each protest and each “occupation” of booths and public buildings are caused by unresolved, new, old and accumulated problems that require government attention and conciliation of legitimate interests, in whose solution contrary criteria and proposals are contributed and accepted, but always with the aim of respectfully seeking the common good, the good of the protesters, the good of society and public order.

The Governor of Sinaloa Rocha Moya, stated that the protests of agricultural producers must be carried out “…freely, without external pressure and without threats…”, but President Sheinbaum herself denounces that “the blockades are a defense of privileges” and on different occasions she has declared that some of the “leaders” have “open folders” in process, all of which are threats to intimidate.

President Trump of the United States continues to threaten new tariffs, destabilizing the national economy, reducing remittances and charging a 3 percent tax; Although President Sheinbaum denounces the Mexicans who “want the US to intervene in México”, the truth is that the one who is achieving this is the Mexican government itself, which receives orders disguised as “international collaboration” to combat the cartels and “denounces” casinos, gas stations and businessmen in general as “launderers” and “recommends” the closure of companies and the arrest of suspects, while foreign satellites and drones continue to operate in the skies of México.

That is to say, the government does accuse, denounce and extort citizens and accept or encourage the US to act with impunity in México, but it does not find a way to resolve the serious problems for which Mexicans protest and march.
